... I think my nanowrimo chart tells it all. I've been wrinting like crazy for the past few days. I think I'm starting to see a pattern here. Look at my campnano chart from juli for example:
The mysterie of the missing plot
Eventhough I did reach 50.000 words my story is far from complete. In the end I just didn't know what to write anymore so I mainly wrote backstories for my characters and subplots. At the beginning I thought there was a plot, but somewhere along the way I realised that somehow there wasn't really any. Hence the mysterie of the missing plot. I'm not sure what happened here, but I'm going to try to plan everything a little better next year, haha.
Every year I say I'll try this and every year I find I'm too busy. Still, this November was probably the busiest yet. I'm exhausted! So I don't feel too bad. Still, maybe next year. Well done on 50,000 words! That's honestly incredible! What did you write about? Maybe you could post little bits here if you're okay with them being online. It would be really cool to read them!
ReplyDeleteI was lucky to have a lot of time to do it. I wrote a fantasy story here, but it is still far from complete and there are a lot of things that I need to figure out before I can continue writing. After Nanowrimo I do feel a little bit like I'm done with this story for a while. I have started to write another story, which is a science fiction story. If I could say that the first parts of the story where complete I would definitely be okay with posting them here, but I think I'm going to make some changes later in the story, which also require some changes in the beginning, so I'm not entirely sure yet where it's going to go. Once I've figured it out I might post it online.
